The big daddy of them all is the Powerball. The Powerball is a multi-state Lottery game that is played on Wednesday and Saturday of each week. 22 states participate, including:
Arizona, Conneticut, Delaware, Washington D.C., Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

The Powerball starts at 10 million dollars, and rises every time it is not hit. It can rise to a few hundred million dollars. To hit the jackpot, you must pick the 5 regular balls, plus the Powerball. Odds are kind of tough though:
