VIDEO POKER

There are many types of video poker, (jokers wild poker), (deuces wild poker), (jacks or better poker), etc. The most popular one is jacks or better video poker. The game is a 5 card draw game, where you will need a pair of jacks or better to win.

The strategy to use for this would be to keep all pairs, flushes, straights, and if the hand isn't that terrific, keep a card higher than a jack, or if atleast 2 cards are of the same suit, keep them.

Only break up a pair if you have a 4 card straight, a four card flush, or a three card straight or royal flush. If you have a straight that is one card shy of a straight or royal flush, discard the other card, and try to draw for it. Don't ever try to hit a "gut shot" ex. 5,6,_,8,9. If the cards are low, just discard them all.

Most video poker machines take from 1 to 5 coins. I suggest that you always play the maximum amount on any machines, because the jackpot payoffs usually reward players that play the maximums.
